1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the JobPilot Africa website (jobpilotafrica.com), our Telegram bot (@JobPilot_Africa_Bot), and our Telegram channel (together, the "Service"), operated by JobPilot Africa ("JobPilot," "we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

JobPilot Africa helps job seekers in Nigeria build a professional, AI-assisted CV through a guided interview, and discover job listings aggregated from third-party job sources. The website is an informational and discovery layer; the CV-building interview, payments, and job matching take place inside our Telegram bot.

3. Eligibility

You must be legally eligible to seek employment in Nigeria to use our Service. By using the Service, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you are using the Service for your own genuine job search.

4. Your Account and Information

When you register with our Telegram bot, you agree to provide accurate information, including your name, phone number, and state. You are responsible for the accuracy of the answers you give during the AI interview — our AI reshapes what you tell it into professional CV content, but it does not fabricate or verify your experience. You are responsible for reviewing your CV before using it in any job application.

5. Fees and Payments

CV creation is a one-time paid service (currently ₦2,000 per role), and Job Alerts is an optional recurring subscription (currently ₦500 per 30 days). Prices may change; the current price is always shown inside the Telegram bot at the time of purchase. Payments are processed through Telegram and/or third-party payment providers integrated with the bot. Except where required by law or expressly stated otherwise at the time of purchase, fees are non-refundable once a CV has been generated or a Job Alerts period has begun.

6. Job Listings Are From Third-Party Sources

Job listings shown on our website and through our bot are collected from a range of third-party job boards, employers, and recruitment sources. While we take reasonable steps to filter out clearly fraudulent or duplicate postings and refresh our data regularly, we do not independently verify every detail of every listing (such as salary, exact requirements, or continued availability), and listings may change or be filled without notice on the source's end.

7. No Guarantee of Employment

JobPilot Africa is a discovery and preparation tool. We do not guarantee that you will be matched with any specific job, that any employer will respond to your application, or that you will obtain employment through our Service. Hiring decisions are made solely by the employers and organizations listed, not by JobPilot.

8. Acceptable Use

When using the Service, you agree not to:

  • Provide false or misleading information about yourself or your work history.
  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose, including fraud or impersonation.
  • Attempt to disrupt, overload, or gain unauthorized access to our systems, bot, or database.
  • Scrape, copy, or redistribute our job listings or CV content at scale for a competing service without our written permission.

We may suspend or terminate access to the Service for anyone who violates these Terms.

9. Intellectual Property

The JobPilot Africa name, logo, brand, and the design of our website and bot are the property of JobPilot Africa. Your CV content, once generated, is yours to use for your own job search. Job listing content remains the property of its original source.

10. Third-Party Platforms

Our Service is delivered in part through Telegram and WhatsApp, third-party platforms we do not own or control. Your use of Telegram and WhatsApp is also subject to their own terms of service and privacy policies. We are not responsible for outages, policy changes, or actions taken by these platforms.

11. Employer and Partner Inquiries

If you are an employer or recruiter contacting us to distribute vacancies or explore a partnership, any resulting arrangement will be governed by a separate written agreement between JobPilot Africa and your organization. Nothing on this website constitutes an offer of partnership terms.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, JobPilot Africa and its founders are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to lost job opportunities, inaccurate third-party job listings, or service interruptions. The Service is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind.

13. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time by leaving or blocking our Telegram bot. We may suspend or discontinue any part of the Service, or your access to it, at our discretion, including for violations of these Terms.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
