JobPilot Africa ("JobPilot," "we," "us," or "our") provides an AI-powered job search and CV-building service delivered primarily through our Telegram bot (@JobPilot_Africa_Bot), our Telegram channel, and this website (jobpilotafrica.com). Information you provide directly

  • Your name, phone number, and state, provided when you register with the Telegram bot.
  • The industry and specific role you select for your job search and CV.
  • Your answers to the AI interview questions used to build your CV — these describe your work history, skills, and experience in your own words.
  • Payment information when you pay for a CV or subscribe to Job Alerts. Payments made through Telegram are processed via Telegram's own payment systems and/or third-party payment providers; JobPilot does not directly store your full card or bank account details.
  • Any messages you send us directly, for example through Telegram or WhatsApp, if you contact us with a question or partnership request.

Information collected automatically

  • Basic website usage data (such as pages visited and general browser/device information) via standard web technologies, for the purpose of understanding how the site is used and keeping it running reliably.
  • Your Telegram account identifier, which Telegram provides to any bot you interact with, so we can recognize you across sessions.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Create your AI-generated, role-tailored CV based only on what you tell us.
  • Match you to relevant job listings based on your selected industry, role, and profile.
  • Process payments for CV creation and Job Alerts subscriptions.
  • Send you job matches, alerts, and service-related updates through Telegram.
  • Maintain, secure, and improve our bot, channel, and website.
  • Respond to questions, feedback, or partnership inquiries you send us.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

4. How We Share Information

We do not share your personal information with third parties except:

  • With payment processors, solely to process payments you initiate.
  • With Telegram, as the platform through which our bot and channel operate.
  • Where required by law, regulation, or a valid legal process.
  • With your explicit consent, for example if you ask us to share your CV or profile with a specific employer or partner.

Job listings shown on our website and bot are drawn from third-party sources (job boards, employers, and recruitment agencies); we do not share your personal data with these sources merely by showing you their listings — data is only shared with an employer if you choose to apply and provide your information as part of that application.

5. Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active, or as needed to provide our services, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. You can request deletion of your data at any time (see Section 6).

You can:

  • Ask us what personal information we hold about you.
  • Ask us to correct inaccurate information.
  • Ask us to delete your information, subject to any legal or legitimate business reasons we may need to retain certain records.
  • Unsubscribe from Job Alerts at any time through the Telegram bot.
  • Stop using our bot at any time by blocking or leaving it in Telegram.

7. Children's Privacy

Our services are intended for individuals who are legally eligible to work in Nigeria. We do not knowingly collect information from children under the age required to seek employment under applicable Nigerian law. If we learn we have inadvertently collected such information, we will delete it.
